Clearance of wing trailing edge rivet tails

I was wondering if the 3.2x8mm rivet tails in the wing trailing edge would interfere with flap travel, such as I have seen discussed in the Sling forum with the TSi. I tacked one of the flaps closed with a few rivets and installed. I found that the upper travel of the flap was limited by its leading edge making contact with the spar rear channel, specifically the heads of the rivets present on this channel rather than from the tails of the trailing edge rivets. The flap was able to be raised several degree beyond the flat. The rivet tails with the flap in this position still had a clearance of 4mm or so.

So I will install the remaining trailing edge rivets.
