Manufacture custom assorted shims and brackets to complete wings
A number of shims and brackets were made for the completion of the wings

The trailing edge edge at the outboard side of the step on skin dips noticeably then rises. A 0.64mm shim was made to remove the dip, improving the appearance somewhat.

This is a replacement for shim made earlier, which was lost. This shim improves the skin transition

Influenced by P. Latten's blog, I chose not to make a grommet hole in rib 11. Instead, two 1mm brackets were made to hold a grommet to support the nav light cable, shown here with the soon to be installed outermost hinge bracket.

The rev 0 rib 11 supplied was rev 0 which has two 4mm holes on the flanges nearest the tip as seen. I do not wish to upsize the skin rivets at this highly curved location. Instead I have made two "washers" which will be drilled at installation and will provide a surface for a 3.2mm rivet tail to set against, constraining the flanges. These elongated washers will also fix into the correctly sized adjacent flanges. The remaining holes will be drilled at installation.
