Installation of nutplates in custom fibreglass wingtip bumps

A single MS21047L08 nutplate (8-32 thread) was installed in each wingtip bump, rivetted directly to the fibreglass (4 layers) with countersunk #40 stainless steel rivets (CCC-32). The rivets were dipped in JB-Weld, and the interface between the nutplate and the fibreglass was smeared with same. JB-Weld was also lumped around the tail of each rivet.
