Custom shims for main gear assembly
I did not like the 0.8mm gap (when relaxed) present between the upper parts of the seat mounting channels CF-CHL-006-L/R-A- and CF-CHL-007-L/R-A- and the upright angles CF-ANG-006-L/R-A- and CF-ANG-006-L/R-A- caused by the inserted 0.8mm thick main gear mounting box CF-CHL-020-C-A-. I preferred to fill this space with shims, rather than rely on the rivets to pull the listed parts together. Left unchanged the hole alignments of the outwards facing flanges of these parts was badly affect, and variable. Photo essay.
