Canopy slider channel nutplates
The nutplates along the edge-fold needed to be chamfered slightly in order to rest flat. The nutplates at the end had to have one tab folded slightly to follow the bend in the aluminium. Stainless steel rivets were dipped in Duralac yellow. Note these "M5" rivnuts are just AN3 rivnuts that have had a M5 tap run through them. This is possible since the AN3 thread at 32 TPI is very close to 0.8mm. Over the ~5mm length of the thread the cumulative error compared to a real 0.8mm thread (the M5 specification) is 0.039mm.
