Using heavy duty pad to clear some hard-to-reach burrs
I was using a needle file to remove the burr from the notches of ribs, however was not really happy with the result. Too easy to remove too much material and miss areas.
Instead I used the edge of a Festool Vlies 100 grit pad (equivalent to a Scotchbrite 7440 Tan) to deburr and smooth the edges in the vicinity of a notch. I then finish off with a Festool Vlies 320 grit (equivalent to a Scotchbrite 7447 - Maroon). This process is faster then working with files, and avoids the risks of using a buff wheel.
All the ribs treated in this way
