Elevators Mar 30 2026

Finished up both elevators! Was able to clean up and rivet the trailing edge, match drill the holes into the piano hinge for the elevator and trim tabs, deburr, rivet the hinge on, and bend the hinge pin! Feels good to have these completed and another section checked off, even if it's for the second time. Only small remaining item is the two aft most rivets on the outboard side, i can't remember how i managed to rivet those two on the first go around. Will have to think about that one.
