Fuel tank prep, sender and opening

Cut the sender hole in the tank and fitted rivnuts.

Extended the hole in the front of the fuselage to allow access to both the tank filler and sender.

Rivnuts installed with some permatex gasket sealant

using the dremel circular routing attachment to make a shallow cut on the outer ring, full depth on the inner ring

curves cut

sanded and ready for some epoxy

The edge of the firewall reinforcing strap is 8 layers of biax carbon.... no wonder the dremel wasnt happy cutting thru that!
