16 Jan 21 - 07-08 - Shear Clips

Was tempted to wait for the pnematic blind riveter, but cracked on with the hand one. Quite straight forward, three squeezes and the mandrel breaks off. I did clamp the skin down, as was abit worried about slipping, but seemed to be fine. An old rag protected the primed skins from the hand tool...15mins work, but spent another 1hr using the remaining TE and some scrap sheet to come up something to practice TE riveting on.... Will chat with the inspector about when he needs to inspect, as when the left skin stiffeners are blind riveted to the right skin (07-09), will be hard to reset any of the rivets... Finally found the 3m VHB tape needed to bond the TE to the skins, and also recived notification that the missing nutplates for section 07-05 are on their way, so will be able to finish that too...Cant keep holding off the TE rivetting forever....
