Priming replacement parts and torquing VOR antenna
Primed the previously missing / replacement parts - horizontal stabiliser rear spar stiffening plate, rudder top gusset channel, elevator counterweight arm bushes, rudder rib 3. Touched up some areas on the horizontal stabiliser and elevator structures with primer.
Torqued the VOR antenna to 1 1/2 threads showing then applied torque seal. Tried the prevailing torque + 6nm for M4 locknuts approach, but it seemed excessive and was starting to damage the surface of the VOR base so I backed that off. Not happy with the torque seal packaging, I removed the cap and half of the contents gushed out and then it kept oozing out - couldn't stop it. Wasted a lot before I even got to use it. It's very thick and did not go onto the M4 nuts nicely at all. I was expecting it to be thinner, more like a nail polish consistency.
