Fitted 2x 2030 Heyco snap bushes and Midwest Panel Builders harness to the horizontal stabiliser. Fabricated standoff for the wire where it exits the rear spar out of the old elevator gusset which was incorrectly supplied. Will need to apply paint stripper to the standoff and then prime again. Installed protective tube over the harness wires in preparation for securing in the standoff.

Deburred and scuffed the replacement elevator gusset and the left elevator control horn mount angle (I ordered a replacement control horn bracket because I wasn't happy with some minor damage caused when I had to drill out the stainless steel rivets - the drill wandered and contacted the bracket). Ready for priming. Drilled out the small rivets on the elevator control horn as necessary and removed the old left bracket, marked as scrap.

Removed the vertical stabiliser beacon wiring and replaced with a Midwest Panel Builders harness. Fitted a protective tube over the VOR antenna cable where it was cable tied to the top rib 4, removed the cable tie and replaced with 0.20" safety wire to secure it.
