Brake lines at pedals

Installed the stainless steel brake line run-through bulkhead T adapter to the firewall and secured using Loctite 222. Orientated the fitting at an angle to avoid the brake hoses interfering with the copilot rudder pedals. Installed AN3 elbows onto the brake master cylinders after applying a thin film of Loctite 577. Installed the brake hoses through the rudder pedal torque tubes after covering them with the Sling-supplied plastic tube for protection. Loosely fitted the hoses within the footwell / firewall area, all worked well except for the bottom fitting on the right copilot master cylinder. The inside side skin is very close to the pedals, so to get clearance the hose needs an acute bend (the pilot's side is fine, since the plumbing routes to the top fitting). Whilst the hose can handle this, there is a long collar at the nut / fitting which prevents the bend being formed and places strain on the hose as a result. After consultation with TS Flightlines, I'm going to try re-orientating the elbow and then fitting a second one at a 90 degree plane which will re-route the nut behind the master cylinder and provide a bit more space. The hose should probably have been ordered about 5cm longer, but I wasn't aware of the collar at the time of the order.

Fitted NPT fitting to the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir, used Loctite 577.

Installed wheel spat brackets on the front fork. Discovered I've installed the tube in the tyre incorrectly since the valve stem sticks out past the fork. The KAI is not clear about the assembly, so Sling sent me a photo and my mistake was obvious. I need to reinstall the tube with the valve rotated 180 degrees so that it routes back through the centre of the rim as per the photo attached. This is confusing because they also supply a nut and retaining washer specifically for the valve which is not used.

Trimmed the undercarriage bolts to length per the KAI, then ground the ends smooth and polished on the deburring wheel on the bench grinder. The end result is good, the nuts thread on with no binding at all.
