Transfer and fuel boost pumps

Installed the long-range transfer and main tank boost pumps in the root of each wing. I used the Midwest Panel Builders mounting brackets and a very similar layout to their installation. I initially wanted to install a fuel cutoff valve and Andair bypass valve for each main boost pump, but a lack of space and AN fitting incompatibility eventually led to me scrapping that plan in favour of a simpler approach. A Redhorse Performance fuel filter is fitted, as with the Midwest setup. I am not planning to use the full Midwest boost controller functionality since the main fuel selector in the cabin (Newton SPRL rather than the Andair unit) is not compatible with their selector indicator which drives the processing logic

I have installed a slightly different transfer pump arrangement as well, with a simple 6AN T connector and a Redhorse check valve. This is quite different to the TSI standard long-range selector arrangement which is overly complex, but similar to the Sling HW arrangement - fuel from the LR tank will be transferrable to the main tank on the same wing only, without cross-feed complexity between wings. Whilst this may seem to limit flexibility, I believe it is better since it is simpler and likely to address lateral weight distribution better by not allowing fuel to be transferred from an outboard location to an inboard location on the opposite side of the aircraft (making one wing lighter with a higher moment arm and the opposite wing heavier)

To achieve the installation, rib WG-RIB-201 on each side had to be removed to access WG-TUB-S06 which had previously been bent to shape for the standard long range tank fuel line. This was trimmed, a flare nut installed and then the rib was reinstalled with the necessary plumbing. Unfortunately, the angle could not be altered to align appropriately with the fuel pumps, so a curved bridge pipe is required

Installed GT150 connectors on the transfer pumps and the CiES fuel senders
