Finally back into the swing of things and finishing up the elevator. Found some corrosion on the skins that is a mystery to me. Unfortunately some of the corrosion caused pitting, so I may be replacing the skins. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon polishing everything to see what was surface only and what was more than that. The rest of the day was spent assembling the frame while I wait to hear back on a quote for replacement skins.
