Cut reinforcement backers from the flashing of other molded plastic parts in the kit. Ensured that the edge clearance was sufficient (2D) and used ABS solvent weld to bond the reinforcements to the tip and achieve full strength in the joint. Cleco'd and taped to hold until the solvent fully cures before finishing installation on vstab.
