Practice Kits
We received our practice toolbox and airfoil from vans and with the help of some Air Force sheet metal friends started learning to bang rivets and work metal.

This did not end well

He has continued to be the cleco master when we are working

My sheet metal instructor friends made fun of me for how many clecos I used making this box

Experiments with priming using rustoleum self etching

The piano hinge came out better than we expected

This thing was worth its weight in gold

A removable vice set up I wound up undoing later and permanently fixing to another bench.

We bought a cheap piece of steel from Lowes and cleaned off the layer of rust to make our backrivet plate.

It took a lot of tries to figure out backriveting.
