Finished truing up the aileron ribs. Tip ribs are the only thing left for turing.
I need to go through and inventory my rib stiffener angles and make up any deficits.
I've also placed some orders to keep progress moving forward:
- Ordered some EkoPrime and associated EkoClean and EkoEtch from ACS
- Ordered the Stewarts recommended DeVillbiss Finisheline 4 from Amazon along with some painting consumables and Scotch-Brite pads
- Ordered two 4'x8' 2024-T3 0.032 sheets from AirParts Inc for spar channel material
In prep for painting I need to get my big air compressor up and running to make sure I can supply appropriate air. I've also been working to refurbish an old horse barn on our property as a new airplane factory so time will be split among these project throughout the spring.
