Canopy Frame and Canopy Fitting
Fitting the canopy frame and canopy.

I also painted the aft section of the canopy that covers the roll bar.

Glare shield location taped, scuffed and ready for primer and paint.

And one more. You can tell I'm proud of this accomplishment.

All drilled, I had to raise it just to see how it looked.

Before any drilling you have to place specific weights on the canopy to ensure the proper fit.

The frame side skins now in place and ready to start drilling. For the next 5+ hours not sure I even breathed.

Here the template for the forward edge of the canopy is in place.

First time canopy frame had been fully closed, the fit is nearly perfect. Clamped and ready to fit the canopy.
