Cowl

Done!

Fitting the oil door. I chose to go with a spring hinge and these camlock latches. It takes time to get this fit just right. I think I will layup a few layers of glass around the inside edges. I also have to fill in the original holes with epoxy.

Here is the finished cowl pin in place, looks great.

Spread epoxy with white pigment to seal the inside of the cowls.

Here is what is looks like inside once the fiberglass has set.

Here is the template for the pin covers, it's a little oversized than the final piece so it fits perfect. Taped in place so I can lay the fiberglass on the backside.

Working on the Aerosport cowl pin covers, these are a nice addition.
