Wing root fairing mold to make final fairing from

the wingtip was carefully and expertly aligned thanks to Henric with flap and aileron - so now we need to align it with the roof using some handy dandy fishing line.

Brilliant - I needed to put body filler in the ceiling where we glassed in the joggle as the skateboard (center panel) wasn’t fitting properly, and Jono made little squares with a knife - worked like a charm!

Clifford bonding on the roof with a flox and silica. When the kit goes out all this will have been done for the builder

Cleco to keep it in place while it dries - will glass over this later

spring out how to align the back of the fuselage with the flaps

tahdah! some spare parts and wood does the trick to align the composite with the flap

The bulge on the side of the cowl is to house the external alternator. Looks better than the prior version.

LOTS of sanding

Once the roof was bonded in place we went about fitting the wing root fairing

The center panel we refer to as the skateboard - roof seems to be bowing a bit so need to find a way to stiffen
