Fuel drain, Lower boot cowl
Attached nut-plates to the right side lower boot cowl below the door. Assembled the boot cowl fully and added a hole in the tunnel for the gascolator fuel drain point.
To help with the fit I loosed the station B bulkhead and added washers under the fuel pump fitting. This took the pressure off the installation and made the fit reasonably neat.
Parts of the cowl had difficulty lining up with nut-plates and at least 3 holes are not lining up fully with their underlying nut-plates. It’s a very tight snug fit and I’ll need to alter the position of the 3 holes slightly. But most of it is very good. I’ve worked hard to allow the fabric to terminate well at all points and it should look good when covered.
I fitted the rear horizontal stabilizer and elevator to check the fit with strut attached.
