Doors

These doors are taking shape - and it’s true what everyone says about modifications. They do take time. I’ve spent about 2 weeks welding the frames etc, but I’m now seeing good results.

Finished the left door skins today and modified the fuselage frame to get a neater all-round fit. It now latches closed easily and securely. The right door is well underway. I’ve cut, drilled and countersunk all rivet holes except the lower skin joint which I’ll do tomorrow. Also primed and painted ready for riveting.

I still need to install the latch and bolt (arms).
