Engine Uncrating

I uncreated the engine and lifted it onto some trestles using a portable hoist. Tomorrow I’ll get an idea of the items to go on the ancillary case. I can see where the ignitions fit, but I suspect that I have a “rock catcher” rather than a normal oil filter.

In addition, I’m deciding whether to mount the engine now, or whether to mount a perspex firewall, so I can map out where everything will go. I want to avoid making mistakes so it is done right the first time.
