Engine
Today I dropped the panel in for laser cutting. This afternoon I began work getting the engine ready. This involved fitting the AN fuel and oil fittings. The Vans FWF kit has got very good instructions with it, so it is mostly a very simple matter of following them.
I also installed the alternator, and began on the prop governor. However I need to find out more about the governor. Unfortunately I didn’t get it as part of the Vans kit, in hindsight I should have as they do a far more thorough job of everything. For example if I purchased an alternator separately, I would have just got an alternator. But because I got it with the Vans kit, it came with all the additional fitting that I needed.
