Cowl doors

Continued work on the cowls today, trimmed both cowl doors to fit, then I shaped them. Fellow builder Mark gave me a great idea on how to get the forward and aft trim lines correct, it worked a treat.

I received a reply from Clint at Vetterman exhausts. He’s suggested sending the exhausts back to USA for modification. I’ll check with Clint if Vetterman will cover the freight, and if this can be done by courier to get the correct fitting pipes back to me ASAP. Normal freight times to NZ currently run out to several months. I’ll be proceeding with construction of the FAB shortly, so having the exhausts in place is a necessity and not a holdup that we anticipated having purchased the pipes and freighted them out with the original kitset order.
