Cowling hinges, baffles.

I riveted the piano hinges to the cowl doors and altered the hinge wire so it can be removed when the door is open. This is so the cowl doors can be easily removed for maintenance.

Then I continued work on the baffles. The main baffles are all trimmed to size, deburred and sanded. I now need to fabricate the front baffles fully so they wrap around the inlets, including the governor. They need to have cone shaped fillets riveted in that I’ll need to make, then the silicon baffle material added.

Tomorrow I will also fabricate some small lugs for where the cowl attaches to the firewall.
