Windows

Windows

This afternoon was spent firstly trialing both Acrylic and Polycarbonate. I decided to use Acrylic for the front and rear doors and left side window, and Polycarbonate for the skylight.

The left rear window was fairly straightforward, although I had to trim it down smaller than I first thought. I’ll probably seal it tomorrow.

Then I did the right cargo door. With this one, I used a heat gun to add a curve so it fit the door surround at the rear. I then used some Modified Silicon to seal it and clamped it in place to cure.

I cut the front right side pane from a sheet of Acrylic. There is a very small contour in the two front door panels but I’ll leave the panes as they are.
