Spark plug leads, engine wiring, fuel servo

Spark Plug Leads

This morning I continued work securing the spark plug leads. I purchased some plastic clips to keep the leads tidy and separated, from the local V8 Hotrod shop. These worked very well. I mounted a couple of Adel clamps to the baffles that helped secure the top leads. I had to remake one lead to get the correct length after changing the cable routing.

Engine Wiring

I continued securing the EGT & CHT wiring behind the exhaust pipes and used cable ties to tie them to the air inlets. Once it was secured I then tested each probe individually with a heat gun to ensure they were all connected correctly and working.

Fuel Servo

This afternoon I attached the rod end bearings to the throttle and mixture cables and secured them to the fuel servo arms using the hardware supplied in the Vans kit.
