Gear leg fairings
More work today on the hear leg fairings. They’re nearly finished, just one more piece to trim each side, then rivet the front and back strips together. I got them all fitting quite well in the end.
I also attached the wing strut and fairing to try the fit, but decided to leave that until the wings are fitted to get the correct angle. I’ll go ahead and paint the strut fairings though and they can be trimmed for a perfect fit afterwards.
Top Cowl
I trimmed about 3 mm from the aft center of the top cowl where it attaches to the top boot cowl, so it sits cleanly in front of the windshield fairing.
