Etching

This morning I applied an etching solution all aluminium parts to be painted, then washed them down. I also gave the fibreglass parts a light sanding ready for painting.

Painting prep

I set up another make-shift paint booth in my garage, taking care this time to cover the floor and the ceiling. I also spent quite some time cleaning the spray gun properly as it turned out I hadn’t cleaned it properly when finishing last time.
