Flaps and Ailerons, Wings

Flaps and Ailerons

This morning I sanded the flaps and ailerons lightly. I discovered that I had left a fabric tape off one flap and one aileron along the leading edges. Not sure how I missed those, but I added them, then later sprayed with EkoFill. I then have them all a second coat of EkoFill.

Tomorrow I'll give another light sanding, then top coat them.

Wings

I added some carpet strips to the right wing, then fitted the fuel tanks into both wings. They're now nearly finished, so we moved them into the main car garage.

I have decided to make up new fuel lines from the tanks to the fuel sight gauges. I will put a U bend in the center of them that will allow movement between the fittings. This should allow me to fit the wings with the fittings in place, then adjust them to suit.
