Aircraft assembly

The avionics check was scheduled for this morning and it went well. Kelly from Canterbury Avionics tested the Pitot/Static/AOA, Transponder, ELT, ADSB etc. All passed.

I also applied for and received the approved maintenance schedule from SAANZ.

Both wing tips were installed this morning. Then I systematically worked from the wing tips inward adding split pins.

I re-did the flying wires to add washers under the split pins.

Under the tailplane I fitted the trim arm covers, and used cotter pins to secure the trim rods to the arms.
