Wings And Fuselage Inventory Completed

The day got off to a great start when I snagged a ride in my buddy Karl's beautiful RV-14A. Like all RVs, it flew great. Full Dynon panel and dual E-Mags on the engine. It's my second time in an RV-14 and it was very motivating. A big shoutout to Karl for the flight, gas, stick time and answering a million questions. Energized, it was back home to finish inventorying the QB wings and fuselage kits. I methodically worked my way through all the little bags of hardware and parts. In the end I was missing just a couple small pieces of hardware. I'm so glad the flaps and ailerons come complete with the QB wings. Honestly, I'm getting tired of building control surfaces. And it was gratifying to see that the workmanship in these pre-built components, assembled in the Philippines by experienced workers and inspected by Van's personnel in OR, was comparable to mine. I've been working alone for months, doing the very best I can, but many times wondered how my work measured up to experienced builders. I feel much more confident now moving ahead that I'm doing OK.
