More Skin Riveting
Distractions around the house limited my shop time to a couple hours yesterday. I continued riveting the J-stiffeners but it was it was slow going. Today, after a couple of rivet gun slips that resulted in bad rivets (that were removed without incident) I rethought my decision to rivet with the skin upright. Inverting the skin as depicted in the plans allowed the rivet gun to be on top and bucking from below. This made evaluating the shop heads more difficult but overall I seemed to make faster progress and the gun was more controllable. Wish progress was faster but working alone its hard to speed things up.
