Pedal Progress

Short time in the shop today but got all 4 pedals clecoed together and match drilled for their rivets and AN3 screws. Also fabricated 4 bushings from 5/16" aluminum tubing. Was on the phone too. Made calls to a local anodizing place and tech support at Rustoleum trying to figure out what I want to do for a pedal finish. I'm leaning towards painting them with a Rustoleum primer and then a high durability enamel paint the comes in spray cans in multiple colors. It would be nice if they matched my exterior paint scheme but I really haven't though much about that. Also talked to the folks at Stewart Systems about their water based aircraft finishes. They're sending me a color palette and some larger swatches of various grey shades since gray is gonna be my primary interior color. Then I called the guys at Matco Brakes because I've read on the Vans forums about guys adding return springs on the shafts of their brake master cylinders due to dragging brakes. I wanted to get Matco's take and they advised against it. Lastly I ordered a 6" #12 drill bit and #12 reamer from Aircraft Spruce because I think they'll come in handy in the future.
