Rudder Top Fairing Attached
Sprayed on some high build primer to fill some pinholes in both rudder fairings. Sanded most of it off to save weight. Match drilled, deburred, dimpled and countersunk the lower fairing to the rudder. With the help of my first-born we got it riveted in place. Then using Poly-Fiber SuperFil I filled the gaps and low spots along the fairing seam where it joins the metal. It'll be dry by tomorrow and I can get most of it sanded off to leave a nice finished look.

Using a hi build primer primer on rudder fairings.

Matched drilled fairing and clecoed in place.

Riveting fairing on with my daughter helping.

Fairing riveted in place.

Super-Fil applied along the seam. Electrical tape covered a row of rivets I don't want to hide.
