Elevator Fairings Sanded

Spent hours today sanding the SuperFil off the fairing joints. A very messy, dusty job. The tops weren't too tough. Underneath was a different story. Very awkward sanding upside down sitting on the floor. I'm using a variety of sanders to make it easier. A reciprocating tool with triangular sanding pads, 5" orbital palm sander and sanding by hand which gives me the most control. It was a way slower than anticipated process. I had hoped to get the final fit and bonding of the stab fairing patches done today but it wasn't to be. Out of town for a few days and back at it Tuesday.

I bought some 320 and 400 grit paper on-line today for my 2 sanders. That fine a grit is unavailable in stores.
