Wing Parts

I've spent the past couple days continuing through the KAI to verify my QB wings are to spec. I've also continued my research on the -EXP119 engine option and what would be needed to alter my QB fuselage to suit. I've gotten in touch with several builders who've been helpful with photos of their own projects. I've come to the conclusion the alterations won't be too tough. I'm refining my avionics package and ordering the Dynon pitot tube mount for the Garmin GAP26 pitot tube. My buddy Dan bought a partially completed RV-8 kit and needed help riveting on the wing top skins. This morning I drove over, and we got both of them riveted in uneventfully in 3 hours. It was valuable experience for my own wing skins. He'll be helping me with my bottom skins when they're ready to go on. I'm finally to the point that I can start making wing parts and so started on an access hole cover and the 2 landing light mounts.
