Forward Canopy Assembly
COVID reared its ugly head and kept me out of the shop yesterday. Fortunately, symptoms were mild. I was back out there today turning the forward canopy frames into the forward canopy assembly. This involved tweaking a lot of the flanges so they rested against the skin in the curves. Cleco it all together, take photos and makes marks, disassemble, adjust flanges, reassemble, check flanges again, repeat as needed. A pain. Got it all together along with much final and match drilling. Along the way taking constant measurements with a digital level to make sure there's no twist in the structure. If there is, torque it on the opposite direction, measure, repeat as needed. Lots of ominous warnings in the build manual about how frustrating a warped canopy frame is. Heeding their warnings and doing all I can to prevent that.

Checking for twist. It changes constantly as it goes together but I've been keeping it within .05 degree. Not much force is needed to adjust it.

Assembly complete. It'll all need to be disassembled and deburred before riveting.

Structure is coming together. Leveling it and stabilizing as directed was challenging with a zillion clecos sticking out the top.
