More Canopy Latching System

I'd been sidetracked the past couple days dealing with some unforeseen home projects but managed to sneak out to the garage for a few hours and continue working on the canopy latching mechanism. I elected to paint a few small components gloss white with rattle can enamel to match the white powder coated canopy torque tube. It was way quicker and easier than getting out the spray gun. The color difference is hardly noticeable given the very light gray of the rest of the cockpit and there out of the way position behind the rollbar. It took some time to get the 2 steel locking pins to slide easily through the bronze bushings in the rollbar. I didn't want too much friction but no play either. And getting the lower cotter pins correctly safed in the clevis pins wasn't the easiest given their location. I elected to reverse the position of 4 clevis pins from the plans to position the cotter pins inboard. As depicted with the rear window in place it would've been very difficult to access those cotter pins if I ever needed to disassemble it. Inspecting it is now easier too.
