More Avionics/Electrical/Exhaust
Been busy these past few weeks on a variety of tasks. All the engine sensor wires are fished through the firewall and ready to be connected. I finished up all my avionics trays. I installed my ignition shunt and 60-amp ANL fuse on the firewall next to the starter solenoid. Installed the Vans USB receptacles both between the seats and the Garmin GSB15 in the panel. The ground bus "forest of tabs" plate was installed on the cockpit side of the firewall on the right side. I put nutplates on it to make it easy to remove and attach the many ground wires to it. Before hooking up all the firewall forward sensor wires I decided to install the exhaust system, heat muffs, SCAT tubing and EGT probes. That way everything would be in place on the engine when I'm running and securing wires and I'm less likely to paint myself into a corner.

Vans' USB receptacle and aux music jack installed between the seats.

Shunt and ANL fuse holder installed.

Ground block installed on inside of firewall with nutplates.

Match drilling for ground block.

Drill templates for shunt and ANL fuse holder.

Garmin GSB15 USB receptacle in panel. I needed to fabricate a spacer for it to clear the lower interior panel lip.

Supports for exhaust tubes.

Complete exhaust system installed with EGT probes, heat muffs and SCAT tubing,

EGT probes

All 2" SCAT tubing for heaters cut to length,
