Day 11

Today we got the vertical stabilizer skinned! Our VOR antenna arrived so we were able to get that fitted and mounted. You have to measure and drill holes into the upper rip and skin to accommodate the antenna.

Once that was installed it was quick work clecoing, clear drilling, de-burring and riveting the skin onto the framework. We took special care to make sure once it was all Cleco’ed that there was not any twist in the structure. Once we were satisfied with the fit we then riveted it all together.
