Day 16

Today we started working on the assembling the flaps and ailerons.

As with most processes, we started with unwrapping all the ribs, skins and components. Again, this process takes quite a bit of time and patience.

We were able to assemble all the ribs for the ailerons and then scuffed the right one and were able to cleco and assemble it and then riveted together.

The front line of holes and the leading edges are not riveted at this time. These are done when it is aligned on the wings.
