Day 15

Today we got the wiring ran for the wings lights, strobe and pitot. We also got the tubing ran for the pitot in the left wing.

We installed all the rubber grommets and then ran the two tube lines in the left wing for the pitot.

We then ran the wiring harness we acquired from Midwest Panel builders down the channel on the bottom of the wing. Then using wire ties, held the wiring in place.

We also had to change some of the wires in the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. We didn’t realize that Midwest would provide harness equipped with plug ends. We had ran wires that we were intending to put plugs on ourselves. So we worked to remove the old wires and reroute the new harness. It took a little bit of work and patience, but I’m the end got them in place.
