Day 48
Torque Control Tubes.
Today was a tedious, but crucial work. We spent a large portion of the day aligning the Torque Control Tubes. This required taking in and out each of the three tubes one at a time sanding of small margins of the bushings housings until the tubes rotated perfectly smooth. Once the front two were completed, we moved onto the rear. This one we found was missing the top lock brackets. So these have been ordered. The bottom brackets have been adjusted as far as able for now for smooth rotation. The front tubes are Cleco’ed in and ready to be riveted. The seatbelt brackets have been riveted in, as well as the front floor joiner brackets.
