Day 76

Spent today going through and inventorying the 4 crates that came at the end of last week. We compiled a full list of all the back order parts from all the kits that we are still needing and will be sending that to Sling to make sure those things will be sent, and hopefully get an ETA on when we will be receiving them, especially the Undercarriage items. Much of the build comes after the fuselage is up on wheels, because that gives the structure its final alignment, and everything else’s gets built from that.

In the Finishing Kit though we did get a few needed items to get some of the wings, flaps, and ailerons completed. So we’ll be able to move onto those in the meantime. As well as we can leak test the main fuel tanks, run fuel lines and get the tanks riveted onto the wings. After all that, then the wing tips can also be placed. So there’s still stuff that can be worked on while working on getting some of our back ordered parts.
