Day 78

Our extra sound proofing foam arrived yesterday. First thing this morning we finished cutting and installing that onto the rear floor section of the center fuselage.

Now that our finishing kit has come, we were able to finish assembling our ailerons. We were waiting for a pair of bearings and bolts to finish the rib assemblies. After finishing the rib assemblies and preparing the skin we Cleco’ed and then riveted the right aileron. The front rivets stay off until the flaps and ailerons are final aligned with the wing.

Tomorrow we’ll finish assembling the left ailerons.
