Day 116

We’re back to the control tubes and sticks. Now that we have the plane down on the landing gear we set about checking the alignment of all the control tubes. They were all still smooth to rotate. Going to look into some dry lubricant to make them extra smooth. Next we’ll rivet in the stops and install the rod ends, then get the control sticks fitted.

We also took some time today to write out a general idea of how we wanted to proceed with our build. With many sections being done slightly out of order, and still missing quite a bit of back ordered parts we wanted to make as best of a plan as possible in order to be most efficient with our time and with what parts we do have.

it certainly helped us feel more organized and a greater sense of how best to proceed with our project.
