Day 120
Cabin Air Duct
Today we worked on getting the cabin air duct channels sealed.
This started with getting the front inside side skins Cleco’ed and riveted in.
We then drilled and inserted a couple of rivnuts where the heater box would mount. It would be too difficult to each these once the cross panel is set in place. (Which we riveted in today as well because it has to go in before the heater channel gets set.)
Once all the prep work was done we smeared SikaFlex along the air duct channels, sealing all the gaps and joints, as well as setting in the heater vent channels in the front.
We also sealed and riveted in the fresh air intake composite parts.
