We got the canopy fitted today!

We had to drill our parachute tray back off and trim the upper channel support in order to make the parachute cables fit. Once the canopy is riveted in place later we will then rivet the tray back into place.

After we slid the canopy into place the first time we went around and marked with a marker the places that needed to be trimmed. Then pulled it back out, sanded the areas and placed it back into position.

Using a few straps and clamps we got our canopy to fit as best as we could, getting the skins to fit along the lines in the canopy.

After we were satisfied with the fit we began match drilling through the canopy and placing cleco’s as we went along to insure it stayed in place.
